Two lands and housing projects are slated for the cityProperty development moguls, F-Global Properties Ltd whose head office is based in Yenagoa city has commissioned a new branch in Owerri, the capital of Imo state of Nigeria.
The new office while in Owerri intends to build two land and housing estates – the Akasawa and Cananna projects. The Akasawa is for the middle class while Cananna for the big boys.
In a brief ceremony at the newly commissioned office in Owerri, the group Managing Director Mr. Emelike Ifeanyichukwu Ossy remarked that the aim of moving to Owerri is to reduce corruption among Nigerians. He said his company is compelled to toe this line as they have strategically initiated land and housing projects for the middle and low income earners to own a house.
According to him, Nigerian workers were prone to stealing money to get befitting accommodation for themselves while serving in various capacities in both government and private sectors of the economy.
In other to curb this trend, he noted that his company could make land available for clients at a moderate rate of depositing 15 per cent of about N950, 000 and start to build the kind of accommodation a client wanted within a time frame of 4-5 years.
By so doing, the idea of workers stealing money to build a house for themselves is drastically reduced in the country.
He promised to make land available from interested communities in Owerri and build 1, 000 houses for interested residents there in three years to make them live comfortably in serene environment in spite of the financial implication in this direction but it is designed platform to provide houses for everyone.
Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Ossy also said his company intends to move to Delta state soon to make workers in that part of the country to get land and house from his company’s initiatives.
Also speaking, the traditional ruler of Obinje, HRH Eze Dr, G.I. Ejimogu (JP), the Anunu 1 of Umu Anunu of Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo state prayed God to guide and protect the company business in Owerri’
Several partners of his company graced the commissioning ceremony. This include Sky Bank Plc. Zenith Bank, Sterling Bank, MTN and host other important dignitaries.
