The online publisher of Creeknews.com has called on ex-political appointees in Bayelsa state to pack their bag and baggage to go.
The publisher, Mr. Austine Bodo made this assertion in a press statement to newsmen in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital Monday.
According to him, the non-compliance by the ex-political appointees to vacate their offices and handover to next superior officer is a negation of our democratic norms, principles and disobedience to service.
Their action, he pointed out, is disturbing the moral and smooth administrative process by those next in the authority to provide service delivery to the public.
He described their reluctant attitude as callous and greedy, adding that their continued occupation to hold on to power is unacceptable and uncalled for, therefore he advised them to strictly obey the governor’s directive and go without further delay.
He further hinted that the various contributions made by the ex-political appointees should not used as a yardstick to re-appoint them except a few that the governor may deem it necessary, saying that the governor’s new cabinet need new blood and low cabinet to consolidate his achievements in his second tenure in office
