Reactions have continued to trail Governor Henry Seriake Dickson’s recent six- year anniversary by a group under the aegis of Better Bayelsa Mandate (BBM).
The group has called on the state government to clear the hitherto backlog of salaries owed to civil servants in the state.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the leader of (BBM)
Mr. Preye Dressman in Yenagoa.
The group leader also said that they have felicitated with the state governor on the occasion of his six years anniversary in office by the restoration government
The statement reads in part, "at the helms of affair of our beloved state, especially for the establishment of Bayelsa state Education Trust Fund, seeking to make higher education available and affordable to indigent Bayelsans, upgrade of secondary schools and the facelift of model primary schools across the state, by this the government has paid the needed attention to education as the bedrock of development in any society.
"We say keep it up with your good work as you continue to thread in the right direction of making teaching, learning conducive and also education attractive", BBM added.
