Pastor shot dead in Yenagoa

A church pastor whose name is not immediately known has been shot dead in Yenagoa by unknown gun men.
The incident, according to eye witness account took place at his church premises along Ebi’s Mechanic Road, Amarata, Yenagoa.
Nobody knows why the soothsayer pastor was shot dead by the gun men but the source further claimed that the deceased may have predicted political doom and insinuations against politicians in the state, although this is unconfirmed.
However when the pastor was shot dead, it is gathered that his corpse was first deposited at the morgue in the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital.
But some elders ordered that the corpse be brought back to the church and be laid at the altar for three days mourning and prayers while others argued that he remains in the hospital until burial arrangements were made.
According to our source, he saw the church pastor live and direct at the altar when took some sympathizers to the church to commiserate with fellow brothers and sisters of the church.
The police could not be reached for comments as at press time.
Meanwhile it is said that criminals and other miscreants have increased tremendously in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state allegedly hired by politicians to be used as thugs towards the state governorship poll slated on December 5, 2915 by INEC
