2015: Bayelsa Founding Fathers Swear Fire and Brimstones

Bayelsa state Founding Fathers has sworn fire and brimstones to political gladiators who enjoy treating them as ants after working like elephants for the creation of the state.
In a statement signed in Yenagoa by the Chairman and Publicity Secretary of the group, Sir Chief (Dr.) Benedict Guembe and Comrade Canus Robinson respectively said this warning has become imperative following the gale of endorsements and counter endorsements by some groups who have no direct bearing with the state and its corporate interests, saying that such unholy meddlesomeness is creating unnecessary tension in the state.
To this end, the founding fathers categorically advised all groups, persons including non-indigenes who want to foment trouble to stay away from the affairs of the state because Bayelsans are peace-loving and law abiding people and as such cannot be distracted by the outside elements to create fear and anarchy in the state.
Furthermore, the body is ready to corporate with all security agents to identify trouble makers for arrest and prosecution during and after the election.
The group said that they would henceforth pursue the overall interest of the downtrodden masses whose interest was sole driving force and quest for the creation of the state and advised all sitting governments to work towards this direction.
As the 2015 election comes close, the body wants all the electorate not to sacrifice themselves due to mere pittance, adding that their future is in their hands as they now have another opportunity to vote for the right candidate.
The Founding Fathers of the state stated unequivocally that whoever wins in the forth coming election should revisit the development blue print mapped out by the body to fast tract development of the state. Not only that, the winner should also partner with founding fathers to effectively utilize the resources of the state to wipe away the tears of highly neglected and impoverished people of the state.
However, the group called on all contenders of the poll, electorates and the general public to ensure a peaceful environment before, during and after the election, saying that wrath of God will fire anyone toying with the dream of the founding fathers of the state.
