The Chief Imam of the Bayelsa State, Imam Abusufyan Uche has sued for peace among Nigerians to celebrate the Eid-El-Kabir festival.
He made this remark while exchanging views with selected journalists at the Amarata Mosque, Yenagoa City, stating that all Nigerians should live together as brothers and sisters irrespective of religion, ethnic, race and colour difference.
In his goodwill message, the Imam urged Muslims to be faithful and strictly adhere to the whole injunctions of the Holy Quran and teachings of Prophet Mohammed.
Speaking on the significance of the Eid-El-Kabir, he reminded every Muslims to emulate the exemplary life of Prophet Ibrahim who promised Allah to offer his son, Ismailia as sacrifice to him but, when Allah saw his faithfulness and at the verge to make the sacrifice, he rather provided a ram besides him to offer as sacrifice.
He thanked Allah for making it possible for all Muslims to mark this year Eld-El-Kabir festival.
