Tourism institute partners with publishers

The International Institute of Tourism and Hospitality, Yenagoa, Bayelsa state will continue to partner with Bayelsa Federated Independent Publishers Association (BAFENPA) as a world class tourism training center.
The Public Relation Officer of the institute, Mr Gbison Gbalimori gave the assurance when he paid an unscheduled visit to their office as part of the efforts to improve the symbolic relationship between the office and the institute.
He called on BAFENPA to continue to work as an ally with the institute in publication of activities and programmes in the area of manpower development.
He promised to create the enabling environment for the realization of the mission and vision of the institute in line with the mandate that led to its establishment by Governor Henry Seriake Dickson.
Mr. Gbalimori also advised Bayelsa youths to take advantage of the opportunities available at the institute in the area of vocational training to be self-reliant instead of waiting for non-existing white collar jobs.
