YENAGOA: The Executive Governor of Bayelsa state, Rt. Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson has expressed satisfaction over the infrastructures that have been put to place in Bayelsa state.
The governor who made this comment while touring projects in Yenagoa explained that these projects when completed will attract investors and boost the economy of Bayelsa state.
He said the essence of investing heavily in these projects is to diversify into other areas of the economy apart from oil and gas which in years to come can help the state become self sustainable.
Speaking further, Governor Dickson said both the Sampson Siasia Sports Complex and the Oxbow Lake complex which are of international standard will be completed in December 2016 for the youths of Bayelsa state to exhibit their talents.
Dr. Isaac Olajede the Chief Medical Director, Bayelsa Diagnostic Centre while reacting to the governor’s speech expressed optimisms that with the centre put in place, Bayelsans will no longer travel out for any related issues, stressing that the centre is world class tourism centre.
