Hon. Goma hails Yenagoa LGA boss

The Bayelsa state commissioner for Local Government and Community Development, Hon. Agatha Goma has commended the chairman of Yenagoa Local Government Hon. Oboko Oforji for queuing into the Restoration Agenda of the state.
Hon. Goma made the commendation while inspecting a shopping mall project embarked upon by the chairman of Yenagoa LGA at the Ekeki Motor Park in Yenagoa.
According to her, the construction of the shopping mall at the Ekeki Motor Park with the present harsh economic realities on ground would consolidate the gains of the restoration agenda by the state government.
She disclosed that Governor Seriake Dickson would do everything possible to ensure that the project is completed on schedule by the contractors, adding that she is impressed with the level of work done especially the aesthetic beauty of the shopping mall under construction.
She equally urged other local government chairmen to embark likely projects that will impact the people at people at the rural communities in the state.
Also speaking, the chairman of Yenagoa LGA, Hon. Oforji thanked God for giving him the vision of the shopping mall project being supported by the state government.
He stated that the shopping complex has 74 lock up stores which will help prospective traders do business at the motor park in the state.
He noted that the project will be completed before the end of the year 2016 for use.
