More than six suspected armed robbers have invaded a shop in Otuokpoti community in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa state.
The said shop located at the road side is owned by Mr. Monday Samuel Igbani, an indigene of the community.
Eye witness account said that the robbers stormed the shop at 12.45 a.m on Christmas night.
On their arrival, they tied down the security guard after gaining entrance to the store and carted away items worth millions of naira.
The security man, Mr. Gogood however told newsmen that the suspected armed robbers blindfolded his eyes but when they finished the operation, they removed the blindfold from his eyes and left.
According to Igbani, the robbery incident has been reported to the police at the state criminal investigation department for investigation.
