Bayelsa youth leader bags Miss VIP Nigeria award

Bayelsa state youth leader, Hon. Blankson Edwin Osomkime has bagged the Miss VIP Nigeria prestigious award of Grassroot Development Initiative in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state.
The award was bestowed on him by the organizer of Miss VIP Nigeria beauty pageant, Mr. Pereye Okorowanta at the Trendy Event Centre on last Sunday.
The award is the 6th in the series were conferred on prominent Nigerians who have contributed to the development and advancement of humanity at the grassroots level.
According to the organizer of the award, Hon. Blankson was conferred with the award based on his enthusiasm and passion towards grassroot development across the state.
He further stated that his enviable contributions to the upliftment of grassroot development as well as his active philanthropic activities stands him out for the honour.
Speaking after receiving the award, Hon. Blankson expressed gratitude to God and commended the organizer for finding him worthy for the recognition, saying that he will do all within his power to continue to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden in the society.
He called on other well meaning Nigerians to also contribute their quota for the needed development of the grassroot.
Other awardees include Dr. Paterson Ogoun, Mr. Dise Ogbise and Chief Graham Naingba.
