In his key note addressed, the Governor of Bayelsa State Facebook Community, Mr. Esueya Adulphus said they are touring all registered political parties in the state in furtherance of their “Not too young to rule” campaign ahead of the 2019 general elections in the state, adding that political parties should reduce the price of intent forms to enable interested youths to vie for position of trust in the state and Nigeria at large.
He noted that the system had used the financial muscle to knock out the youths during party primaries, therefore he used the opportunity to call on credible youths to utilize the “Not too young to run bill” to express their potential, adding that youths are not leaders of tomorrow but leaders of today.
While fielding questions from newsmen after the visit, Mr. Fafi expressed delight for well-structured community; he advised them to embark on a sensitization tour on the need to shun money bags while clamoring for transparent, credible, free and fair election in the State.
