Enters the Queen Factor

A new book entitled the Queen Factor has been launched in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital on Thursday.

The book is authored by beauty pageant veteran, Miss Makbere Marian, is a master piece that entails all the coaching you need to become a queen and model.

The occasion was chaired by Barr. Francis Wainwei, Chairman of Miss Bayelsa Pageant and National Vice President, Association of Beauty Pageant Organizers of Nigeria (ABPON).

He said that pageantry is a big business and happy that a new book of that nature is launched, which is embedded with knowledge to help aspiring beauty queens.

He is of the view that the emergence of the book would also assist pageant organizers as consultants to ease their job.

According to him, some pageants were faked as it is not well organized, saying that after one reads the book it may put a stop of the prevailing rubbish stuff some beauty pageants were made up.

He described pageantry organizers as philanthropists based on his wealth of experience in the industry for more than 18 years and commended the author, Miss Makbere for her excellent work.

Barr. Wainwei, however, was disappointed by the absence of beauty queens at the book launch which was an event meant for them.

In her remarks, Miss Makbere stated that she wrote the book for posterity based on her personal experience as a beauty queen over a decade now.
She explained that anyone who read the book will be affected by the content on how to make their way to the top in the pageant industry of the world, the driving force to know what it takes to be queen.
Over N500, 000 was realized at the end of the book launch.
