Enters a new website in Bayelsa


A new website entitled byscivilservicecomm.org has been lunched in Bayelsa state.

The state deputy governor, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (rtd) commended the chairman of the state Civil service commission –owners of the website- for their bold foresight.

According to him, the website would help applicants, staff of the commission and civil servants to be abreast with latest development in the state civil service.

Also speaking, the chairman of the state civil service commission Dr. Peter Singabele said the innovation can fast track activities of the commission, adding that examinations and oral interviews would be conducted soon for applicants to work in the civil service and the new website is to display shortlisted names.

The Commissioner 111 of the commission, Chief Kune Igoni-Claudius said that the commission carried unbiased screening of applicants totaling about 23, 000 and 12, 000 submitted completed forms.

The applicants in groups are expected to write the proposed examinations which will commence August 21, 2018, he added.

It could be recalled scores of applicants are scrambling for job placements in the Bayelsa state civil service as ordered by the state governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson.
