Members of the association led by the chairman, Chief Union Oyandogha for the condolence visit urged the commissioner to take solace in God because he knows better why the two incidents occurred at this time.

”We want to commiserate with you over the death of your loving husband Dr. Goma and your elder sister Mrs. Brenda Asamowei. We know how tragic it is for you to lose your love ones at this point in time.”

“Please accept our heartfelt condolences and may their soul rest in the bosom of the Lord. We cannot question God because he knows better why it happened.”

In her response, the commissioner thanked them for the visit, adding that her husband was loving and caring and would be greatly missed by her and the children.

Mrs. Goma further remarked that her husband has gone to rest with the Lord because he was a pastor who dedicated his service to God and humanity.

On the death of her elder sister she said “my elder sister Brenda Asamowei will be missed because I cannot hear her kind words and humor again. She has also gone to rest with the Lord”.
